OCTOBER IS ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MONTH

Imagine a society where every person is a professional in their field, systematically and successfully grows the country's economy and cares for people's well-being. Sounds too good to be true?

October in Rotary International is celebrated as Economic and Community Development Month. Rotary supports investments in people to create measurable and long-lasting economic improvements in their lives and communities. We all know that people are struggling with low incomes, lack of funds to educate the young, and have little experience in maintaining viable businesses that improve the country's economy, especially in these financially challenging time. Therefore, one of our main missions is to train people so that they can help their communities develop. We do that through consulting on new business development and financial management, among other things.

New generations have always been our biggest hope. We create opportunities for the youth to achieve academic heights and apply their knowledge to contribute to the country's economic growth by creating and developing sustainable businesses. Next, they will be creating jobs providing opportunities for others from their communities. We recommend you to enjoy the experience of mentoring – in order to experience a significant change within your community.

You can also support economic and community development projects on Rotary Ideas and join a Rotary discussion group to share your expertise with fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors. Our main mission is to be a source of knowledge that helps Rotarians plan, implement, and manage impactful and sustainable economic and communities development projects. Link: https://ragced.org/
